Kishoku

Hong Kong has an abundance of sushi restaurants and therefore a newcomer must be pretty darn good to stand out. Kishoku has been getting great reviews and also benefits from the fact that it is opened by the old head sushi chef of Sushi Take, Ah Do. I made lunch reservations and was very impressed by the decor of the restaurant. It maintained the tranquil and tasteful element of traditional japanese restaurants but was also more modern and decorative. It was very pretty and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was polite and efficient. The lunch set was similarly priced to other sushi restaurants of similar status. The fish selection was great and it was extremely fresh. I would definitely return again. One extra detail that I really appreciated was that they divided the meal into two plates of sushi which ensured that the sushi was freshly made which was particularly important for sushi pieces with nori.
