Capital M

I could of sworn I have posted about Capital M before... but cannot seem to locate the post for some reason. How irritating! Anyhow, Capital M is part of the well known M Restaurant group which also owns M on the Bund in Shanghai. Food at Capital M is only average but I think it is worth going for the ambience and location where you have a view of Tiananmen Square and the decor is quite beautiful and unique.

Pretty teacups and a good bread basket. Terrible framing... 

Seared scallops with a pea and mint puree 
Scallops were seared right, the pea puree was ok. Presentation is pretty but taste is only so so. 

Roasted lamb with vegetables, feta pie, and mint yogurt
The lamb was a bit dry and the flavor was mediocre. The vegetables were also not impressive. The feta pie was quite good but not good enough to make up for the rest of the dish.
